As Phil Town's stepson, Hunter grew up surrounded by investing ideas and had the opportunity to review early drafts of Payback Time and Invested. That experience helped shape his approach to careful research and long-term strategy.
Building on this foundation, Hunter earned a JD/MBA at the College of William & Mary, combining legal and business expertise. He graduated from Hampden-Sydney College in 2019 and was runner-up for valedictorian at the Virginia Program at Oxford. The combination of academics and hands-on investing experience gives him a practical understanding of how to navigate complex financial and regulatory landscapes while staying focused on long-term value creation.
