Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER. Contest is open to the general public nationwide, except for employees. To be eligible, all contestants must have a working email address; both when qualifying and at the time they are selected as a prize winner. Individuals with non-functioning email addresses will be bypassed during the winner selection process. Contestants must be 18 years or older to enter. All entrants agree to receive email marketing materials sent by Phil Town of Rule #1 Investing.

2. To Enter. Contest will run from January 19, 2021 through January 25, 2021 at 11:59 AM PST. Requirements to enter listed.

3. Odds of winning are NOT based on the number of entries received.

4. Winner Selection. Winner(s) will be personally selected by Phil Town of Rule #1 Investing and Danielle Town and notified via podcast episode announcement and / or email by January 29, 2021. An individual may win the contest only once. If a winner does not respond within 24 hours of being notified, a new winner will be chosen.

5. Winning prizes are as follows. Grand Prize: Free Virtual Workshop ticket, signed copy of InvestED, and your question gets featured. Plus, Danielle’s Bundle: A yearly subscription to the Invested Practice Newsletter and access to the Mostly Invested Online Course. Second place: $100 Amazon e-gift card, a signed copy of InvestED, and your question gets featured. Third place: $50 Amazon e-gift card and your question gets featured. All prizes are supplied by Phil Town of Rule #1 Investing and are awarded “as is.” Gifts are non transferable and cannot be exchanged.

6. Physical Books will be offered to winners who reside within the 48 contiguous United States. All International entrants will be entered to win the promoted digital products.

7. Expenses. All State, Local, Federal and/or other taxes, duties, tariffs, title fees, licensing fees, or other fees for prizes awarded will become the sole responsibility of the winner.

8. Sponsor. Sponsor of the Contest is Phil Town of Rule #1 Investing. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, or Twitter.

9. All entrants and winners agree that Phil Town of Rule #1 Investing and its affiliates shall have no liability and shall be held blameless for any injury, misfortune, or damage to either persons or property insured by entering, participating in, winning, or losing any contest by use or non-use of any prize received.

10. Phil Town of Rule #1 Investing reserves the right to change any of this promotion or the promotional elements. Management reserves the right to change the rules at any time.

11. By entering the contest, each entrant is granting Phil Town of Rule #1 Investing the use of entrant names, statements, photographs, videos, voice recordings, and likenesses of himself/herself and any other person appearing in submission materials.
